Rituals at Ky Yen festival at Gia Loc communal house
Ky Yen Festival has been held since 1926 and is maintained continuously
to this day. It becomes a part of the cultural and religious beliefs of the people here.
Sometimes magic
The ceremony to invite the gods takes place at exactly 6:00 a.m.
on March 14. People will conduct the ceremony to invite the gods from Ong Ca temple to Gia Loc communal house.
Chief ceremony
The main ceremony is held after the celebrant offers incense and seals the ordination.
The ritual is performed using a red cloth or silk wrapped in a tin tube with a lid.
Then the paint is spread out and covered with parchment paper.
The litter is covered with a new shawl and placed on top.
The palanquin is gorgeously decorated, painted with gold, and carried by 4 animal soldiers.
Inviting the gods shows the villagers' respect and pride for the village.Offer money in the past
After the deity is brought back to the communal house, offerings are made to those who have contributed to building the communal house,
showing gratitude to the contributions of those who went before.

With the purpose of commemorating the time when our ancestors ate fur,
the offering items include 2 roasted pigs and 1 live pig.
Build adoration
Adoration is an extremely important ritual. The people who build the adoration are usually the elders in the village. This represents longevity, a virtuous person and a deep understanding of rituals. The altar drum at Gia Loc communal house is a large drum that has existed for a long time. The altar drum must be placed in the right direction, in the right direction of life. This avoids taboos for the celebrant.

2. Trang Bang dew-dried rice paper making
The dew-dried rice paper has the unique flavor of the Southern countryside.
The technique of coating the cake with two layers, "bathing" in the sun during the day, drying in the dew at night,
and grilling with charcoal has been passed down from generation to generation.
In 2016, the dew-dried rice paper craft village of Trang Bang district was recognized by
the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a national intangible cultural heritage .
3. Funeral ceremony for Linh Son Thanh Mau
Ba Linh Son Thanh Mau Festival is a unique traditional
festival that takes place from the 4th to the 6th of the 5th lunar month
every year at Ba Den Mountain, Tay Ninh . The festival has taken place for more
than 200 years until today, expressing community - local identity; reflects the cultural - historical
diversity and creativity of Tay Ninh people .
The Ceremony of Ba Linh Son Thanh Mau - Ba Den Mountain has been recognized
by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and included in the National Intangible
Cultural Heritage List in Decision No. 3325/QD-BVHTTDL dated September 4, 2018.
This is considered a major folk festival in Tay Ninh in particular and the Southeast region in general.
4. Chhay-dam drum dance
Chhay-dam drum dance is a very special form of theater art,
taught by Master Thai Chia Thanh (Cambodian) to Khmer people in Vietnam in
1972 to perform during the Cao Dai festival at the Cao Cao Holy See. Dai Tay Ninh .
Later, the Chhay-dam drum dance was also performed on all holidays, New Year's Eve,
blessing ceremonies, kathina robe offering ceremony (offering ceremony to relieve drought),
and karma karma ceremony (ceremony to inaugurate a new house for Buddha). )
and even on the stage of Robah, Du ke... of the Khmer people. Up to now
, this form of art is only preserved by a few Khmer ethnic groups in the South,
including the Khmer ethnic group in Truong Hoa commune.
5. The art of preparing vegetarian dishes
Tay Ninh is inherently a sacred land, so when coming here it is difficult
to resist vegetarian dishes. Vegetarian food here is extremely rich, each dish has
its own way of preparation, but creates an unforgettable taste for any diner who comes to this land.
